Prozon 75 ml

What is it and what is it for?

Prozon is a cream preparation able to soothe the symptoms of the hemorrhoidal state thanks to its composition with ozonated sunflower oil and witch hazel extract that plays a key role in vasoconstriction, reducing inflammation and decreasing blood flow rate. The effect of ozone, stabilized in a lipid carrier through the synthesis of a highly ozonated oil, guarantees the maximum benefit to the affected area obtainable through an anti-inflammatory process.

What is it made of?

Prozon is supplied in a 75 ml bottle and consists of: Ozonated sunflower seed oil with anti-edema, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and re-epithelialising activity;

• Witch hazel extract (3% – 5%): with phlebotonic, vasoconstrictive, hemostatic and antiphlogistic properties;
• Tocopherol:Â together with tocotrienols, they are part of the fat-soluble elements that make up the vitamin E group. An antioxidant capable of reducing oxidative stress and promoting cell renewal;
• Allantoin: promotes a re-epithelialising and keratolytic activity. It also promotes the proliferation of fibroblasts and the consequent synthesis of the extracellular matrix;
• Glycerin: is an organic compound with moisturizing properties.

Clinically tested

During the conduct of an observational study, Prozon was shown to be effective in the treatment of hemorrhoidal status with surprisingly significant results, with all symptoms being reduced already from the first applications.
